CHANGE OF PLANS!!
This year we are combining our annual Bob Evans Row Dinner with the Alumni Reunion. It will be at the Bob Evans Corporate Headquarters on S. High Street, just north of the 23/20 interchange on the south side of Columbus. The address is: 3776 South High Street Columbus, OH 43207.
It will be held on the same date, Thursday, September 3rd, 2009. Please be there AT 6pm. We will need a head count, so please RSVP to r_row_members@yahoo.com if you are planning to join us.

Summer sessions are quickly approaching! If you are interested in or are planning on trying out for The Ohio State University Marching Band this fall, these sessions are a great opportunity for you to refine your marching and playing skills. The first summer session begins this upcoming Tuesday, June 19th from 7-9pm. Check out the offical OSU Marching and Athletic Bands website for more information. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the OSU Men's Basketball team on reaching the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament! The Buckeyes now face the Georgetown Hoyas on Saturday, March 31st.

Congratulations to the OSU Men's and Women's Basketball teams on clinching outright Big Ten Championships over the weekend. This marks the first time in Big Ten history that a school has won outright titles in all three major sports (Football, Men's & Women's Basketball). Last year's teams all won the Big Ten title as well (with the Football team being co-champions with Penn State). OSU's combined home record among the three sports was a staggering 42-1 this year. OSU finished the football season ranked #2, and is currently ranked #1 in Men's Basketball and #2 in Women's Basketball. GO BUCKS! OHIO!

Our beloved Buckeyes were unable to come through in their quest for a perfect 13-0 season, falling hard to Florida in the National Championship Game 41-14. This is a very disappointing loss for us all, especially because of the margin of defeat.
On a positive note, congratulations to the entire OSU Marching Band on a very successful season, and thank you to all of the non-returning members for their hard work and dedication to help make this band what it is. Check back soon for more detailed information on all of the non-returning R-Row members as we recognize them for their service to the row and band.

WOSU Television has been following the OSUMB around for the past 1 1/2 seasons as they prepared a documentary on the marching band. I am happy to say that this documentary has been completed, and was screened to members of the OSUMB tonight in HIGH DEFINITION picture! Thank you to everyone involved at WOSU for a wonderful job done!
This documentary will be making it's world premiere on Monday, December 11th at 8pm, and will be shown again at 10:30pm. Don't worry, if you miss it there will be another showing on Sunday, December 17th at 6:30pm! You don't want to miss this, so make sure you check it out! OSU vs Florida for the National Championship! The final BCS standings came out today and Florida jumped over "that team up north" to claim the right to play OSU in the national championship game. GO OHIO, BEAT THE GATORS!

Well, we're headed back to the desert once again! For the fourth time in five years, R-Row and the OSUMB will be travelling to Arizona for a bowl game, this time for the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game! This game is being held in Glendale, Arizona at the Arizona Cardinal's new football stadium. We are looking forward to cheering on our beloved Buckeyes and representing The Ohio State University out west!
Congratulations to the Buckeyes on a huge win over M*ch*g*n! It was a great game, and was undoubtedly the biggest matchup ever in the history of this great and storied rivalry! We are now 5-1 in our last 6 games over "that team up north," a tribute to the greatest coach in college football, Jim Tressel.
